Could One Weekend Change Your Life? Let’s Talk About EMDR Intensives

Imagine this: having the chance to transform your life in just a few days. Say goodbye to years of negative beliefs and old patterns that have been holding you back. It might sound too good to be true, especially if you've been dealing with these things for what feels like forever. But guess what? That's exactly what an EMDR Intensive is designed to do.

How exactly does EMDR work?

EMDR, short for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a powerful therapy technique initially designed for trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). But guess what? It's also highly effective in dealing with a whole range of issues like anxiety, depression, phobias, low self-esteem, limiting negative beliefs, and more.

EMDR is based on the Adaptive Information Processing model that works with your brain's natural healing powers using bilateral stimulation to help you process through tough memories and negative beliefs. The result? Your brain starts processing and integrating those experiences in a more positive way and shifting your neural pathways in order to change behaviors. Basically, those feelings of unworthiness, perfectionism, shame, etc go away. Poof. You no longer think of or feel the same way about the situations that caused those feelings and beliefs in the first place.

That’s amazing right? But, it gets even better. In the space that’s left behind, we can start to cultivate new, more positive beliefs. Could you imagine going from having Imposter Syndrome, feeling like a fake who is unworthy of their success, to simply enjoying your achievements and feeling confident to take on new challenges or demand higher pay?

Why are EMDR Intensives special?

While EMDR is a quicker form of treatment that research has shown results in less time in therapy–and thus less money spent overall–EMDR Intensives are turbocharged therapy sessions which speed the process up even faster. EMDR Intensives include 3-4 hour sessions spread out over a short period of 2-5 days. This format allows you to get the progress of months and months of highly focused therapy in a matter of days. No more waiting for weekly or bi-weekly appointments–EMDR intensives hit the fast-forward button on progress.

An EMDR Intensive is a personally-curated, highly intentional experience allowing you to focus on the changes you wish to see while putting aside the distractions of everyday life. During an intensive experience you’ll receive step-by-step guidance from me as we work collaboratively towards the goals you select. As this premium service is a unique experience we’ll have several touchpoints throughout our time together. Intensive clients receive a personal workbook to help them before, during, and after their experience as well as a 90 minute pre-intensive video call for us to plan your session format and a 60 minute post-intensive follow-up to discuss your progress. This is the VIP version of therapy.

So, what are you waiting for? EMDR intensives can be a powerful tool to fast-track change and healing in your life. In this holistic and transformative process you’re able to dive right in, address specific issues, and emerge with newfound strength and clarity. You deserve this transformation, and you've got the power to make it happen.
